Grading Guidelines

These are the official posting guidelines ("Site Guidelines") for ("Site", "we", "us" or "our") and is a part of, and an Additional Terms under, our Terms of Use. The Site provides user generated feedback on local governments and their respective employees as well as user generated feedback on a wide range of issues related to local governments. Grades and Reviews should only be posted by members who have specific, recent, and relevant experience with the subject of their Grade and Review.

Please review the following guidelines before posting a Grade and Review on the Site:

  • Be honest and objective in your assessment of the subject;
  • Proof-read your comments before submitting. Poor spelling may result in your review being discredited by those who read it;
  • Remember that negative comments that still offer constructive criticism are useful. Comments that denigrate the subject on a personal level are not; and
  • Submit helpful comments that may reasonably be expected to lead to positive changes or outcomes.
  • Include any piece of identifiable information for an Employee that would allow someone to contact the Employee outside of his place of employment. This also includes remarks about the Employee's family and/or personal life;
  • Post a Grade and Review for a location to which you have never been, or an Employee with whom you have not interacted with;
  • Provide false information;
  • Reference existing Grades and Reviews that have been deleted by our moderators;
  • Grade or review yourself if you are an Employee;
  • Speak on behalf of other people; or
  • Post hyperlinks and/or URLs.

The Site reserves the right to remove any comments deemed as inappropriate, libelous, defamatory, indecent, vulgar or obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, objectionable, discriminatory, or abusive, or which may or may not appear to impersonate anyone else or that otherwise violate the Terms of Use.

  • Profanity, name-calling, and/or vulgarity, derogatory remarks about religion, ethnicity or race, physical appearance, mental and/or physical disabilities;
  • References to a person’s sex life, including sexual innuendos;

The "Do Not" section of these Site Guidelines will be strictly enforced and the Site reserves all rights to delete or otherwise take appropriate action regarding any violations.

Please note, all the grades and reviews on this website are user submitted and should be treated only as opinions. They are not the opinions of or any of its affiliates.

Please do not flag a review just because you disagree with it.

The Site reserves the right to delete, provide to authorities or otherwise take appropriate action regarding comments that threaten violence or bodily harm to another user or an employee including, but not limited to, notifying the authorities of your IP address and the time you rated and taking any action as described in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.


Additionally, please note that the above-referenced guidelines are also applicable for feedback posted by Public Partners. As a reminder, please do not include any identifiable information about a person that would allow someone to contact him/her outside of the site. This also includes remarks about a person’s family and/or personal life.
